Business Attraction + Regional Marketing

​

The Partnership’s business attraction efforts extend around the globe. Direct marketing activities include trade shows, professional conferences, marketing missions, seminars, special events, and individual sales calls to qualified prospects.
 
Business location assistance is focused on domestic and international companies planning to relocate or expand facilities. Business services are provided to small and large companies that require office, research, manufacturing and distribution buildings and/or sites. 
 
When a company selects Northeast Tennessee, public relations services, relocation services for company employees, and startup services such as employee recruitment are provided. As a new corporate citizen, the company then transitions into NeTREP's existing business program, MADE (Made, Assembled, Developed, Engineered)

 

Business Retention + Expansion

MADE (Made, Assembled, Developed, Engineered) is a collaborative effort between NeTREP and our local government partners that focuses resources, services and support on companies that already call the Northeast Tennessee home. Local professional development staff and trained volunteers from the business community interview CEOs and other top company officials to fully understand the company and the factors critical to its long-term success.

The Milestone Achievement Awards are presented each year by NeTREP to manufacturers and distributors located in our communities. The purpose of the award is to recognize and thank local industry for their past, present and future commitments.  Manufacturers and industries are recognized on their fifth year anniversaries (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.). Milestone Achievement Awards will be presented during an annual luncheon in honor of the recipients.

Talent Connect is a program focused on introduce college students and recent graduates from around the Southeast United States to the endless career opportunities in the Northeast Tennessee region.  Engaging with regional employers, Talent Connect provides students from over 23 universities  the opportunity to visit Northeast Tennessee, meet young professionals in the region, explore our recreation and lifestyle opportunities, and connect with employers.

Additional Support Services

Research, information, publications and other media support these two main work activities. In addition to real estate information, the Partnership maintains data on critical business factors including labor, education and training, transportation, utilities, taxes, incentives, area industries and business climate. Presentations tailored to a company’s specific needs and comparisons with other metropolitan areas and states can be provided.

The Partnership produces information in a variety of formats, including print publications, electronic media, maps and videos. Print publications include custom proposals, industry cluster brochures, country-specific brochures, a relocation booklet and two cost-comparison start-up models specifically for domestic and international businesses.
